Privacy Policy
Last updated: 19 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is processed on mallorcaruns.com (the “Site”), in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish data protection law (LOPDGDD).
1. Data Controller
Niko Wilsmann, operator of mallorcaruns.com.

2. What data we collect, and why
Launch-notification list
If you submit your email address, we store it for one purpose only: to send you a notification when mallorcaruns launches. We also store the approximate country your request came from, for basic statistics. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given when you submit the form. You can withdraw it at any time (see “Your rights”).
Analytics
If – and only if – you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to understand how the Site is used (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and your IP address, which Google processes on our behalf). Nothing is collected before you consent. Legal basis: your consent.
3. Cookies and analytics
The Site loads no analytics or tracking cookies until you click “Accept” in the cookie banner. If you decline, no Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager code is loaded. You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of the homepage, or by clearing this site’s cookies and local storage in your browser.
4. Who your data is shared with
We do not sell your data and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. We rely on the following service providers (processors) to run the Site:
- Cloudflare, Inc. – website hosting and secure storage of the email list.
- Google Ireland Ltd. – Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager (loaded only after you consent).
Data may also be disclosed to public authorities where we are legally required to do so.
5. International data transfers
Cloudflare and Google are headquartered in the United States, so some data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area. These transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, which provide an adequate level of protection.
6. How long we keep it
Your email address is kept until the launch notification has been sent and for a short period afterwards, or until you ask us to delete it or withdraw your consent – whichever comes first – after which it is deleted. Analytics data is retained for the period configured in Google Analytics.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. You may also withdraw your consent at any time, which does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. Exercising these rights is free of charge.
If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, AEPD), Calle Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid – www.aepd.es.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time; the “Last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
